Screening a selection of works created and danced for the camera and a video series about stage productions that depend on the power of images, the video-installation Moviment / Temps d’imatges explores the fertile relationship set up between the worlds of choreography and contemporary video.
The installation consists of five screens built into recycled structures that create an impression of chaos, and also includes a reference area where visitors can access information by observing, watching videos on demand and browsing through books and catalogues. The video-installation invites viewers to let themselves be seduced by the choreographic creativity of Catalan culture today. It is a space for finding out about the wide range of dance-based projects that have been created by choreographers and dancers collaborating closely with filmmakers and visual artists with – and through – the moving image. This installation was presented at the 2007 Frankfurt Fair.
