Given the continuing evolution and development of digital media, and the curiosity and interest with which contemporary dance traditionally approaches new forms and media, the “body-technology" territory that they share is an increasingly interesting area of research for dancers and choreographers as well as software and hardware developers, visual artists, musicians, stage directors... NU2’s participates in this research by organising laboratories and opportunities for people to come together and share information and experiences, with the focus on different aspects each time: from teaching the use of the programs and other tools to working with the body as a privileged interface, or theory and discussion on what these new media contribute - or could contribute - to chorography and dramaturgy. NU2's is able to organise these laboratories thanks to a close working relationship with L’animal a l’esquena.
Next Laboratory: November 2011. More information soon.
